Although not frequently, endometrial stromal sarcoma can be polypoid and projected into the uterine cavity. So far I have only seen one case which is predominantly exophytic growth. But the surface of ESS is usually relatively homogenous looking with mainly grey color with firm feeling. This one has somewhat variegated appearance with areas of fish-meat like, yellowish and somewhat fragile. Therefore, if this is ESS, it will be a very unusual one. |
