I am more generous to report squamous differentiation...There is clearly threshold and individual experience. I would report invasive urothelial carcinoma with squamous differentiation. The argument to report "squamous" (if it is true) is to provide useful information when evaluating of any nodal and distant metastasis.

I favor 报浸润性尿路上皮癌. 尿路上皮癌伴鳞化 has to show 1) keratin-pearl formation, and/or 2) intercellualr bridges, and/or 3) keratotic cellular debris. If there is squamous differentiation (even it is very little), my report will be worded as "urothelial carcinoma, high grade, with squamous differentiation (x%).
