Neutrophils? I see mononuclear cells, not lobated neutrophils. There is spaces between cells, mimicking intercellular window for mesothelial cells. The pink material may represent thickend pleura; it is a little too thick and too uniform for fibrin. I feel a mesothelioma should be excluded. Don't see any glandular differentiation for adenocarcinoma. radiographic findings can help very much.
