The importance is the location of the tumor, ovarian tumor or not.
Need some basic stains:
A. Cytokeratin markers for epithelial tumors
B. Vimentin for stromal tumors
C. calretinin, inhibin for ovarian sex-cord stromal tumors.
If this is an ovarian tumor, mostly it is a sex cord-stromal tumor, especially granulosa cell tumor.
So firstly you have to know the relation of this tumor with ovary.
