The main difference between Embryno Rhabomyosarcoma and Alveolar Rhabdo is Embryno usually show spindled cells and alveolar is a small blue round cell tumor. So, it is relatively easy to tell them apart morphologically. Yes, myogenin and MyoD1 are two relatively specific markers for Rhabomyoblasts.
