这个例子很好。我认为形态上比较符合发生于骨组织的纤维异常增殖症（fibrous dysplasia of the bone）。纤维异常增殖症不同于骨化性纤维性异常增殖（osteofibrous dysplasia，又称ossifying fibroma）。二者结构上有相似之处，但发病年龄、发生部位、组织学特点以及免疫组织化学表型都有所不同；后者罕见，多数患者不超过15岁。如果免疫组织化学能够显示出CK阳性细胞，则应考虑骨化性纤维性异常增殖之可能。

For fibrous dysplasia: local treatment is usually sufficient. For those found in ribs, resection is one of the choices. Prognosis is excellent for most of the cases, while malignant transformation occurs in some rare lesions.
For Osteofibrous dysplasia: Conservative approaches have been proposed to its management, as its prognosis is excellent. The lesions tend to regress with maturaion of the skeleton.
