Negative for ER, PR and Her2

Dx: adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast, solid variant.

The cancer recurs 1 year later involving the prior excisional scar, breast tissue, as well as dermis and subcutaneous tissue and extending to one of the superficial lateral margins. Deep margin is negative. No axillary lymph nodes involved clinically and radiologically therefore no lymph node dissection was performed. According to WHO, ACC of the breast occurs 0.1% of the breast cancer and can be treated surgically. No or occasional lymph node metastasis. Should have better prognosis even though triple negative for breast biomarkers. I showed a breast ACC case in 2016 in my post. You can look and compare if you are interested in.

I just checked. I Posted another case on Aug.9, 2015 it was a conventional type ACC of the breast.
