今天在Facebook上得知小苹果的一位留美中国‘同學寫信給美國國會議員想要一份《美國獨立憲法》全文，然後收到了回信及附寄来的《美國獨立憲法》小册子。也許是助理代寫的，但回信中議員先生還說：“希望這篇文章有助於你的藥學學業”。This is America. 意料之外，情理之中。’
顺带报告一个好消息，小苹果大学同学——一位来自北京的中国留学生在去年申请美国医学院失败后，经过整整一年的努力，最近终于拿到了Fall 2013纽约大学牙医学院的offer!
机会总是留给那些顽强百折不饶的年轻人的。为他们的幸运和梦想成真而由衷地感到欣慰。

Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California's 3rd district.Garamendi received a B.A. in business from the University of California, Berkeley & a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
He served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia from 1966 to 1968.Garamendi is an Eagle Scout. Garamendi is also a member of Sigma Chi, as a brother of the Alpha Beta Chapter at Berkeley.
