A number of ovarian clear cell carcinoma actually associates with endometriosis. This case further reminds us that when you gross an endometriotic cyst of the ovary, you need very carefully to sample any areas with thickening or nodular growth to make sure not missing a clear cell carcinoma.

子宫内膜样囊肿伴透明细胞癌。二者伴发的情况非常常见，所以有种推断：卵巢的内膜样癌和透明细胞癌源于内异症恶变。关键是如何看待内异囊肿？一直就有两种学说：一是“经血逆流”种植、二是mullarian上皮化生。二者是互补的。前者可能更多地解释经期妇女的病变，后者可解释老年女性的病变，是宫内膜样上皮分化程度不同（透明细胞可视为一类特殊的宫内膜上皮，以前曾把透明细胞癌视为宫内膜样癌亚型），正如粘液性囊腺癌伴有粘液性腺瘤成分一样，同一个肿瘤内上皮成分分化程度不同。对于低级别浆液性癌也一样，低级别浆液性癌往往伴有交界性成分和囊腺瘤成分。
