Typically involves lung, skin, and bone.
-
Mold: Fluffy, white-buff, prickly; Pear shaped conidia, lollipop
-
Yeast: Large yeast, 8-20 um, round to oval, thick double refractile cell walls, broad based bud.
-
Can cause pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia of the skin.
