海马硬化就是神经元减少，胶质纤维增多。海马结构很经典，低倍镜好像也照不全，一般手术切除的是海马头，海马头的结构是一个由神经元排列成的右开口的C里转出一个由神经元排列成的类似小鸭子的结构。

 临床送来的都是破碎的组织,大体有时很难看出来,而且多数还有杏仁核,这时镜下能分辨出那块组织是海马吗

查阅资料知道海马的神经元是三层结构,不是六层,那它的镜下结构是什么样的,请问谁有海马的镜下结构图片呢

 Sorry, I don't have a slide with me at this time. but you should get a intact piece of surgically resected tissue for this disease. gross by youself if possible. take a cross section of 海马.

Microscopically, the lining of neurons in dentate gyrus (CA1) is ruptured and replaced by gliosis. Should be an easy dx.

大体尽量分辨，还是有方向的

海马硬化的基本病理改变为海马内选择性神经丢失和胶质细胞增生，在大体结构上，海马变小变硬。

 

 

Hippocampal sclerosis has been associated with chronic seizure disorder and previous global hypoxic/ischemic brain injury. Normal anatomy is shows in the uploaded four photos. Typically, anterior temporal lobectomy or hippocampectomy is performed in patients with chronic intractible serzures not well controlled by medications. Under microscope, hippocampal sclerosis is evidenced by loss of pyramidal neurons and astrogliosis in CA1 sector of Ammon's horn. To familiarize yourself with normal hippocampus, sample this area in a autopsy brain taken duraing autopsy. In surgical pathology materials, finding a dense band of small granular neurons (dentate fascia) is the easiest way to identify hippocampal tissue.
