Even though active inflammation is evident by numerous PMNs, the keratinous debris and atypical keratinocytes are very suspicious for squamous cell carcinoma. However, only three photos are presented here and a better effort to identify/document any better preserved, nucleated epithelia should be made before a final diagnosis is given.
