This is a classic case of choroid plexus carcinoma, not just in its histopathology but also in the anatomic location and characteristic young patient age. Sometimes the papillary architecture is not so apparent in choroid plexus carcinoma, and the differential diagnosis of atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT) has to be ruled out. Choroid plexus carcinoma is extremely rare, if it happens at all, in adults. A malignancy in adult with similar histopathology is a metastasis until proven otherwise. Immunohistochemical stains will play an important role in that disgnostic process.
