The photos show part of choroid plexus (papillary structures with associated calcification) and a high grade malignant neoplasm that appear glial (astrocytic) by cytology. I do not see any mitotic figure, necrosis or vascular proliferation, but the appearance is a high grade glioma (either anaplastic astrocytoma or glioblastoma). I do not think this is choroid plexus carcinoma, metastatic carcinoma, central neurocytoma or subependymal giant cell astrocytoma. On pre-op MRI, is the tumor purely intraventricular or is at least part of it in the brain parenchyma? Was there any contrast enhancement?
