This is not an easy case to interpret. These inflamed glands show squamous metaplasia and may be endocervical or endometrial in origin. I don't think the glandular lining is very atypical. That said, the glands are abnormally crowded. Are these glands seen in large areas or just very focally (it looks like you have plenty of tissue to examine)? Some endometrial adenocarcinomas can have superficial mucinous change and marked active inflammation just like that seen in microglandular hyperplasia seen in younger women with or without contraceptive use). Her age at 54 is against the possibility of microglandular hyperplasia of endocervix.
