I agree that this is a WHO grade II diffuse infiltrating astrocytoma. There are hypercellularity and mild cytologic atypia in the proliferating astrocytes. No mitotic figures, necrosis, vascular/endothelial proliferation, features of pilocytic astrocytoma or ependymoma are found. If in doubt, MIB-1 immunohistochemical stain will prove this is not reactive gliosis.
