Based on description of immunohistochemical staining pattern, this tumor should probably be classified as paraganglioma. Paraganglioma is rare tumor and only less than 300 cases were documented in English literature. The above case lacks "zellballen" growth pattern, insteade, with large sheets of tumor cells and infiltrative pattern. This type of morphology is often associated with an aggressive clinical course.
