Dear Mark,

How are you? I hope you are having a great summer!It sure is hot,but I've been trying to stay cool by swimming & reading during the hottest part of day,I've already read three books this summer! Wow…that was fun! I hope you reading everyday too!

I wanted to send a letter to you in June,but I have been really,really busy since school was out.I have been working everyday on some school projects for next year,swimming,sewing new bathroom curtains,shopping for new clothes,working for my flower beds,watching movies, and just trying to relax some too.I have also been seening a lot of my granddaughters.Elizabeth,Ella & Annabelle. They come over two or three times a week to swim with me and they have spent the night too.Boy, I sure am tired when they go home!

What have you been doing? Having you gone on vacation anywhere? My favorite cousin Nancy,who lives in Jacksonvill Florida, came to see me the first week of summer vacation.We drove to Austin to see my older sister.We had a great time just visiting with each other and laughing about some of the crazy things we remembered doing when we were kids.
