Though no apparent amyloid material or associated calcification and foreign body reaction is seen in these photos, I suspect medullary carcinoma should be ruled out. There are no follicular or glandular spaces or papillary architecture to support papillary or follicular carcinoma, and the cytology is not that of an anaplastic carcinoma. Immunohistochemical stains would definitely help.
