Indeed it is surprising that there are not many books on frozen section diagnosis. I remembered only three books in English that were published in 1980s, one is by Silva and Kraemer "Intraopertive pathologic diagnosis: frozen sections and other technique".
One issue of Archive of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in 2005 issue 129(12) had a series of articles dealing exclusely on frozen sections of major organs. These articles should be accesible throught the web.
