毛玻璃样包涵体在乙肝中也可见到。尿液中和肾活检中的polyomavirus 包涵体也是毛玻璃样，但都没有multinucleation.

有时形态特征不明显，我们就做免疫组化。本例不需要。

疱疹病毒包涵体的特征：细胞核包涵体，3M：multinucleation, molding, margination of chromatin, 包涵体呈毛玻璃样，ground glass inclusion. 疱疹一般引起组织炎症坏死（pink material you see in all 4 photos), that is why i went to high power to look for inclusion bodies.  We see inflammation in cervix all the time, but don't see necrotic pink material much.  Then i found perfect HSV changes.  很遗憾图片没镜下漂亮清楚。The findings i saw under microscope are diagnostic for herpetic cervicitis， concurred by my colleagues.  I  see tons of cervical biopsies every day in the past 3.5 years, this is my first time seeing HSV in biopsy.  I see HSV in pap smears very often..

疱疹宫颈炎一般在组织切片上看不到包涵体，但宫颈涂片上很常见。见上二图。上一图是疱疹食道炎，我做住院医生时器官移植病人很多，经常见疱疹。

此病人08年8月HSV-1抗体阳性，HSV-2阴性。太久了，没帮助。几周前宫颈涂片也无疱疹。HSV-1主要感染面部如嘴唇，HSV-2主要感染宫颈阴道外阴等。她没怀孕。

巨细胞病毒包涵体在胞核和胞浆，疱疹只是胞核。妊辰反应是大细胞有很多胞浆，胞核无异常，和妊辰期蜕膜一样。
