Low grade tumor cells with trabacular and rossette architecture, favor neuroendocrine tumor. IHC synaptophysin and chromogranin to confirm. Neuroendocrine tumors are likely to occur in pancreatic tail. Defferention between benign, atypical and malignant neuroendocrine tumor depends on mitotic figures and necrosis. Solid peudopapillary tumor usually occurs in young women, usually not in 60 years old.

Between solid pseudopapillary tumor (SPT) and neuroendocrine tumor (NET), the morphologic features (elongated nuclei) seem to more suggestive of SPT to me. Age of 60 years is not too old for SPT. CD10 and beta-catenin are also helpful in addition to the synaptophysin and chromogranin. Please let us know the results of IHC if done and final diagnosis. Thanks.
