Every one is the same including american medical students.

1. you have graduated from medical schools.

2. Then take the USMLE step 1(biochemistry, anatome, histology, microbiology et al)

 and step: two parts: A) clinical knowledge. B) clinical skills

above 1 and 2 are the same for all medicines.

3. Apply for residency training program- 4 years fro AP/CP

4. Most people will do one or two years of fellowship training.

5. find a pathologist job, after you have passed the pathology board test and get the certificate.

You can check the website to know USMLE test. Unfortunately the tests do not held in China now. You have to come the US first. I do not understand why we do not have the test in China. In fact it do heid in many other countries, including India....

Anyway it is a long way. good luck.

 Also during the residency you must pass USMLE step 3. In fact many FMD cannot fina a residency program even they pass step 1 and step2. So it may help you to find a residency program if you pass step 3 ealier.
