I would think that we all agree that frozen section
diagnosis is one of the most difficult part of our job. Your reputation as a
pathologist is on the line and your skills and knowledge is put on a
test. To learn "when to call and when not to call" takes many
years of learning and experience. We all tend to learn more from our own
mistakes, but we cannot afford many "mistakes". Another way to learn
is from others. Collectively we can learn much more and learn faster from each
other by sharing our "mistakes" or "lessons". Please share
your lessons and experience in frozen section by case presentation...Hope you
have more fun and excitement, but no mistake in the new year.
